Take the self-check

How we handle
your information.

What we keep about you, where it came from, why we keep it, who else handles it, and how to have it changed or removed. It covers two groups of people: anyone who uses the Plantel self-check, and anyone we contact first.

Who is responsible

Proarc AI, a sole proprietorship owned by Prostil Jain, is responsible for this information. On this site it is called ProArc, and it makes Plantel.

If you use the self-check

What we save, and when

The moment your report appears on screen, we save:

A source tag names one of our posts or messages, not a person. Everyone who clicks the same link carries the same tag. Each of these values is cut down to letters, numbers and a few punctuation marks, 64 characters at most, before it is saved.

Saving the report means your browser connects to our database provider. As with any website, our hosting and database providers receive your internet (IP) address and browser details as part of that connection, and may keep them in their own service logs. The saved report has no place for them.

If you click to book a call, we save your answers again, marked as a booking click.

If you ask for a copy of your report, we also save:

What the self-check does not do

No account is created. The self-check sets no cookies, keeps nothing in your browser, and gives you no visitor or session number, so we cannot link one visit to the next. Its fonts and images come from this site. The only other thing it loads is our hosting provider's visit counter, which works without cookies.

Why we keep it

We keep your answers and score because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving a free diagnostic. We use your name and email with your consent. You can withdraw it at any time, and doing so does not affect what happened before.

If you book a call

Our booking page is provided by Google. It asks for your first name, last name and email address, and adds the call, with a video link, to our calendar. We use these to hold the call and to write to you about it. We keep them, and any notes we make about the call, for as long as set out below.

If we contacted you first

Before we write to someone at a manufacturing company, we check, from public information, whether what we build is relevant to their company.

What we hold

Where it comes from

Why we keep it

To decide whether our work is relevant to your company before we write, to write to you, and to keep track of what we sent and what you said, so that we do not repeat ourselves. We rely on our legitimate interest in contacting businesses about work that is relevant to them.

You can object at any time, and we stop. After that we keep only what we need to make sure you are not contacted again: your email or profile address, your company's name and web address, and the date you asked.

Messages we exchange with you on LinkedIn or on WhatsApp are also held by those services, under their own terms.

Who else handles it

These providers process information for us. We sell nothing, and pass nothing to anyone for advertising.

Some of these providers may process information in countries other than yours.

How long we keep it

We keep it for 24 months after our last contact with you, then we delete it. That covers everything described on this page, whether it came from the self-check, a booking or our own research. The one exception is a do-not-contact entry, which is kept for as long as it is needed to honour your request.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

Write to Contact@proarcai.in. One email is enough, and you do not need to give a reason. We act on it the same day we read it, and reply to say what we did. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
